| Abbots Pool near Bristol. Was just wondering if anyone has fished Abbots Pool at Abbots Leigh (just outside Bristol) recently. Apparently this water is great for tench. (Reason for posting here.) And was wondering how it's fishing as I'm planning on fishing there tomoz. Many thanks.      |

| Re: Abbots Pool near Bristol. Thanks for the replies. The main reason I was gonna fish there is because it is very quiet and close, as I don't have a car yet and could scab a lift! Portishead maybe a bit too far as I would have problems getting there. Thinking about it now I don't really fancy fishing alone in an area known for car theft, so I think I best try somewhere else.   May give Old Smoothound a quick Pm then. :) Thanks again. |
