| Massive male Tench.... Anyone see that 13 1/2lb tench in this weeks Angling times? A good fish by any standard, except that this one was a male fish which are normally smaller than female Tench....  It's about 2lb heavier than any previously recorded male fish caught. Some Tinca!!!    |

| Re: Massive male Tench.... ...and male tench fight harder than female tench of equal weight, so I reckon it must have tugged the string a bit. Has anyone else noticed this ?
