| i nice hot and windy day 1/4/07 well guys thought i would get my butt back out there as i have not had a session for a long time so i decide to go for tench and bream and take my cousin as he has not caught a big bream before so we had all the gear ready and made our way to the local when we got there you could wind surf on them waves lol but anyway we got setup i had 2 rods cousin had 1 rod mine was on float and the other was on ledgerand my cousin on the float i just took the ledger to see if i could get a carp so then we got the baits on and off they went out but a coulpe off hours went by and nothing was happen so i started to change things around trying allsorts but then my cousins float went straight under but he missed it so i said get it back out there so he did and it went straight away then he hit in to it and he was on then my cousin said its heavy and moving slow i said its a bream so anyway he got it up to the surface and yes it was a bream off 4lb 4oz  so then he put it back i said well done mate you lucky git lol so he then put the bait back on and out it went so then we sat there for a while it was a slow day and very hot then about 10 mins later my float this time just went and looks if it wasent going to stop so i was soon onto it and i was on it was fighting well maybe carp or tench but then came up and yes a tench just what i wanted 2lb 4oz  so then i was taking him down to the bank to put back in the water and suddenly the bite alarm was screaming away so i was soon on to that and i was on but it was coming in like a tesco carry bag lol it was a another bream this time off 6lb 1oz  so then i baited the ledger and float rod it was a mad 5 mins but another hour past by and nothing was happening so was cousin packed up and went to football so i said that will do for me aswell then so packed up and head off home     |
