| Re: Shanny Blenny...? we call the blenny a blenny and the scorpion fish a bullhead down this way its funny to see new anglers and somtimes old anglers catch bullheads(scorpion fish) down ere cause they alway presume they are weavers!! nothing like a weaver if you ask me. |

| Re: Shanny Blenny...? yer but whats a scorpion fish gonna do to ya? not alot id say...they can look scary but all they got is a few spikes that aint that sharp and a belly that growls at you a bit when your unhooking them. |

As far as I'm aware Weevers are very rare, in fact I'm not sure I've even ever seen one. Seen plenty of poor old sea scorpions getting damaged though, just in case they have poisonous spikes. Let's give 'em a break lads!! Cheers, JB. |

| Re: Shanny Blenny...? I also meant to say, surely for the species race, they should be classified as what they are? Paul and I are intending to catch a whole load of mini-species in the Summer, including Sea Scorpions, Blennies (several species thereof) and Shannies. After all, that's half the fun, isn't it?
