Paul, it didn't - the point is, it was just about to, as it was yet another case of people mistaking something quite innocent (if spikey) for a Weever.

there was a discussion on the beach when caught the wee beasty, 2 said rock blenny, 2 said shanny so used both names guessing someone would respond,will call it a rock blenny next time
our team loss on a shanny(must find out exactly what that is then?)

i'm studying to be a marine biologist and zooligist so i have to be able to destinguish species and i have quite a few books n brittish species, i'll bring it to the meet on the 12th of feb. as for the weaver/blenny/shanny discussion:
