Back To Fishing

Its been a long time since i have wetted a line, and been on this forum, but now im ready to take on the fish and maybe catch one or two this year.

I have gone on a mad spending spree so i have all the new gear and i am ready to catch my first fish of the year.

The local beaches are fishing well at the moment, i have been weighing in whiting, Dabs, Rockling, Cod and PLenty of big 5lb plus wrasse for the angling club but sadly no flounders!!

Myself and a group of mates are planning to get out fishing at least once or twice a week and get hooked into some of the bigger fish that roam our shores. So hopefully plenty of reports to follow!!

Its still nice to see the forum being strong and fish being caught and posted from different areas and long may it continue,

Anyways, enough of me rambling on, On with the fishing!!

Re: Back To Fishing

Welcome back Luke. Few flounder being caught in/near the Exe lately. Not of any great size mind, but still better than last year!

Re: Back To Fishing

Hi Luke good to see your back into sea fishing ,, I am allso back into my sea fishing after a few years missing lol if you feel the need to find a good club nipp over to exmouth sea fishing club , theres a great bunch of blokes in the club they are a very freindly bunch and are allways out on the beach the web-master si ,never fails to catch , just that know-one has the heart to tell him its fish hes after just ask to see his fine crab collection.
The club has loads of differn't venues to offer and they are all up for a bit of freindly banter and the odd after the weigh in.
kind regards john dixon

ps tight lines
