Re: boat fishing advice

I have quite a lot of gps marks for weymouth and portland, but as there stored in my chartplotter i cant get them at the moment,i keep my boat at portland sailing academy as soon as i go down il get the GPS locations and mail them to you, also when the weather get better there is always my uncle who takes his boat out when i take mine out,you would be welcome to bring your boat aswell, safety in numbers!!

Re: boat fishing advice

There are dogfish EVERYWHERE!!!!but if you do fish the shambles be carefull as it can get quite chopy and if your engine fails you will probaly end up in the portland race!!the adamant bank is very good and safe, lots of tope in the summer and some good conger 2!

Re: boat fishing advice

thanks for the info.
i will be taking my boat down weymouth in the last week of march launching from castletown (portland harbour)
if the weather permits.
if anyone else would like to join me with their boat not a problem.
possibly fishing the adamant shore.
i will be investing in a chartplotter later in the year.
