Yeoer is on a distinguished road
Smile Hi All

Just thought i'd ask if anyone has heard how the Looe/Seaton area's are fishing at the moment (off the shore)...

I went down on the beach at Seaton a few weeks ago at night and it was full of doggies... with the odd small Pollock and Whiting... I've been away from fishing for about 10 years so i'm a little unsure as to what to expect... can't remember there being so many dogfish though...

I not sure if i was fishing in the right place on the beach (next to the wall) or if i'm casting far enough... or indeed using the right bait...
Any help / advice on how to fish this location or any other places that are fishing well would be gratefully received... (North or South Coast as i live pretty much in the middle).

Many Thanks

Nigel

Thanks Greenheart and Dan

I'll keep a lookout...

One thing that has surprised me... although i haven't been fishing for years the tackle in general is still much the same... in particular the reels... I've got a 7HT and a Converted 6500C both of which still seems to be there or there abouts... i mean you can still buy them new... i'd have thought after 10 years or so i'd be having trouble getting bits...

I have been out a bought a new Light... the old Tilly had seen better days so i've invested in a coleman petrol light... how easy is that to use... far far better than the old oil burners... good job some stuff has been improved hey...

Talking Re: Hi All

Nowt wrong with Tilleys lad, at least not until the mantle breaks or the thing bursts into flames & covers everything in soot, or your bait & sarnies all smells of parafin etc etc......
