| Hi there, I have a rather nice (well I think it is anyway!) 16ft cuddy boat. Don't know what it is but it's a bit like a Longliner only a bit more substancial. I keep it on a trailer in Dawlish and usually launch at Teignmouth. I use it all year round and we're catching some nice codling at the mo. 'Cause I work weekends, I usually fish midweek. Got a trip planned for tomorrow if the sea's OK. This is good 'cause there's usually not many other boats out but not so good as most people work in the week. (Cant understand it myself!!) Anyway I'd really like to meet up with other anglers who would like a trip out. I usually with just one other person but I guess the boat would be OK with 3. It won't cost anything except half the fuel used (usually about 6 quid). The boat has main and reserve outboards, fish finder, GPS, VHF etc. I am VERY safety concious. If the sea looks choppy, I won't go. Ideally I'd like to meet up with people who know about boat fishing. I only started boat fishing 15 months ago but have shore fished for a long time. My main interests are bass, bream and plaice in the summer and cod in the winter but hey, I'll try anything once!!! Although I take my fishing seriously, I do like to have a laugh as well. Interested? Drop me a PM. I'm new to this forum, we do do PMs don't we? All the best, Owen |

| Re: Anyone fancy a boat trip? Did I give the impression I was looking for someone for just the one trip? Not so, I fish all the year round and would like to meet people interested in joining me on a one off or regular basis. If I'd read this post a couple of years ago I'd be biting my hand off!! I'm a nice guy really. Honest Can't believe there's no one in my area who would like trips out. Spring won't be long now with thoughts already turning to drifting with live eel. live mackerel and shads. Can't wait. Owen |
