| Billy The Fish Went to the Ness today fished 3up and 1 down not a sausage , well if you can call a crab a sausage then yep, I caught a sausage!Anyway, anyone got any ideas on where to fish around Teignmouth or Dawlish?Saw lots of people at low water on the Shaldon side just up from the lighthouse,saw some olg guy catch a tiddler. Heard the bank directly opposite Exmouth on the Dawlish side might be good , any ideas?     |

| Re: Billy The Fish Thanks for the welcome messages hope to bump into some of you at some stage.Couple of questions.Is Berry Head as good as it looks,if so the best time of the year Winter? Secondly when I drive home over Shaldon bridge I sometimes see the people at the waters edge with a bucket,just wondered what it was they are after,thought it might be peeler but from the distance I am normally at i cant tell.  |

| Re: Billy The Fish Welcome to the forum, the people with the buckets will be collecting shell fish like winkles cockles and mussles. Ive never fished berry head through teh winter but i have been told it does produce alot of nice fish so its worth a go __________________ Nothing grows faster than a fish from when it bites until it gets away. |

| Re: Billy The Fish Thanks for the advice.Going to try the Exmouth channel as soon as the tides are right,not sure what baits.Probably try rag,lug ,squid or peeler(if any around).Anyone got any more suggestions, |
