Devon Anglers.

Hi folks,

Over the last few months I have noticed that more and more S. Devon anglers have joined the forum which is great.

I have just got to thinking how it would good to have a social meet up as well as the usual fishing meets we have. Something like a monthly meet and chat etc at a pub that would be central to us all. Personally I like a pint or seven while sharing a yarn or a fishy tail, so let me know what you think and I will set it up. There doesn’t have to be loads of us but it would make a nice change to meet up in this way.

MMMMMM.......maybe even start a club. Now I could be jumping the gun!

Kiwi.

Re: Devon Anglers.

Me personally, i think it is great that more and more people are joining, i stumbled upon it by accident, a very good accident if i may say so.

But isnt it obvious why more and more devon anglers are joining, its because we are better than the rest of them!!

Re: Devon Anglers.

Good idea Kiwi,

It would be nice to put names to faces, and share a few beers. Unfortunately the missus has made be buy a house in Seaton, so I'll be gone by the end of the summer. Nuts!
Whilst we were looking over there she's saying things like "Has it got this has it got that, the garden is nice, the kitchen is big etc" and I'm thinking "I wonder what the fishing is like?!"

Re: Devon Anglers.

OK guys. Once we get the Plaice trip over with I will come up with a date and venue and we will take it from there.

Plod, Seaton isnt a million miles away so you can still make it. BTW the fishing is good in that area just like Dave said.

Talking Re: Devon Anglers.

sounds like a brilliant idea, i would certainly be up for it, however, i'm still only 17, so it will be coke for me.

it may also be easier to arrange fishing meets if we got together once every couple of weeks.

should be a right laugh!!!!!
