Does Chesil still fish on low tides?

Is the fishing at Chesil Beach affected much by the tide in terms of high tide or low tide? Due to commitments I keep missing the high tides so was wondering if anyone knew how it fished at low tide?

Re: Does Chesil still fish on low tides?

Chesil will fish its nuts off over both high and low tides, day and night, in all sorts of weathers.
No two tides are the same here one can be a dream the other a nightmare. All I can suggest is put in the time and you will be rewarded, there is no easy fix for this place.

Chop.

Totaly agree with Chop must put in the time, good days & bad but on the hole good when wind is in the right
direction. not fishing to bad at the moment.

Re: Does Chesil still fish on low tides?

Never a truer word spoken. slack water is usually poor and flood or the ebb can produce different results depending on tide size and simply wether chesil just wants to play games with you. fished four tides in a row in last two days and the ebb was better after dark.the flood better in daylight at adelaide. total opposite at abbotsbury on a bigger tide a few weeks ago. . stoopid beach
