Next meet?

I was just wondering when the next meet might be and where?i know that for some people getting to brixham is easy but i was thinking about splapton or beesands?

How about one over the easter period,late March ,the fishing should have picked up by then.
Somewhere with a nice long clean beach,hayling,stokes bay,chesil,slapton etc all these would be ideal.
I seem to be stuck here between meets from kent area and meets in the south west.

end of term holiday is 28th march - 10th april, im going fishing in cornwall for the first week so how about around the 2nd of april - 10th april?
beesands/slapton sounds good, plenty of time to sort out transport.

if you all hold ya horses i think pingu has a meet...17th? of april on chesil i maybe wrong on the date terrible memory

CHUB, are you sure about your dates, according to my year planner Good Friday is on the 25th.

Regarding Wales, I thought there was a meet, fishing for Smoothounds some time in the spring/summer.

right you are, holiday starts on the 24th and ends on the 8th!
still going to cornwall from 28th- 1st.
i think i am going to hayle, if anyone can give me advice on fishing that area.

Sorry u were right pingu does have a meet on the 17 at chesil.

I was thinking tho for some of the local people or anyone else who wanted to come maybe a meet at the end of march 26th or the 27th on either slapton/ blackpool sands or beesands. I myself will be going on one of these two dates so as these venues are long pebble/sandy beaches i thought it would be an excuse for a meet and a laugh.

I will study the tide times and post the day im am going. i have only fished slapton 4 times so any helpfull advice would be appreciated. e.g is it best to fish the rising tide or falling tide?
