| Marks around Marazion Hi, I am going to be on holiday around Marazion from Monday 2nd AUG for 4 days and wondered if anybody could give me some advice about good shore marks in the area. I would like to give my spinning gear a run out. __________________ Ddaz. If it was all about dragging fish up a beach it would be catching not fishing |

..When i'm down i usually fish Rinsey off the rocky ledges or one of the smaller beaches at Perranuthnoe ..I know you can fish almost directly in front of St. Michaels mount and there are worms to be dug there too.. Shoreline along Penzance (menspants) looks like a builders yard but you could try your spinning gear on the pier at Newlyn.. Head to the other side and fish St Ives side for pollack and Bass - anywhere from Hayle estuary infact all along the coast...im pretty sure all the deep water rocky outcrops will give you mackerel, gars, bass and pollack on the spinning kit mate... There are half a dozen other threads on here including ones where ive added tackle shops etc ..( type in Hayle ) Steve __________________ Shore Species 2012: Bugger All !! |

| Re: Marks around Marazion Thanks for that Scottish and Mental, and yes somehow i have posted this twice sorry. If any one is out and about at the same time it would be good to meet some new faces to go with the names. __________________ Ddaz. | Re: Marks around Marazion Sorry I'm a bit late on this but the beach at Long Rock is supposed to be good for Place and I've personally caught Mackeral and Schoolie Bass from there. Park up at the free car park just over the rail tracks and walk down the ramp to the beach, the right of the pipe is dog territory but the left of the pipe is dog free! |
