Gurnard - Chesil

Hi all

Took another run down to the south coast yesterday and after a very successful day at Abbotsbury recently, I returned to my old favourite beach of Seatown nr Bridport (favourite because of the pub for that after-fishing coll-down lol!)

I wish I hadn't though now as there was seaweed everywhere, nobody was getting anything other than loads of weed and the odd Red Gurnard (I caught two or maybe the same one twice, but sent him back!)

Still, if nothing else I DID get that beer and a half-decent sun-tan!

Ross

Myself and the Mrs were about 100 yds left of the beach entrance as you face the sea with a small blue beach tent beside our two rods.

We fished a bit further down from you. and agree the weed was a pain to start with, but improved with the turn and wasn't too bad once afterwards. Well done with the gurnard. I've still yet to see one. One day.
