fishing bait tips

hi all, anybody got any bait tips for fishing of babbacombe devon. thanks barrie.

Yepp....Mackerel!!!, i dont think live baits work too well down there....i wouldent 100% recommend fishing at babbacombe...it can get really crowded, and theres one a**hole down there who calls himself ''Cheif'', had a tripod setup and ledgering 2 rods off the pier...he turns up.. grabs my tripod and moves it outta the way..i said to him wtf are you doing??..he said this is MY fishing spot, i said no its not, pushed him outta tha way and moved my tripod back and continued fishing...then alot of threats started coming from..saying he was going to punch me with his 'Ring Filled'' hand..i said to him..well dont stand there saying your going to punch me..if youre gunna punch me do it now....he stormed off in a huff !! lol
