| Re: newbie sea fisher saying hello Hi John, Welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately I cannot help you on this occasion but I'm sure that someone will be along who can. I had the same problems when I moved earlier on in the year, but by asking the local anglers lots of questions I soon landed on my feet. | Re: newbie sea fisher saying hello Hi John. The most successful way to catch bass in Teignmouth is to hire a little boat and follow the dredger (at a safe distance). Live sandeel (buy next to the point, take an aerated bait box) or siver metal lures are pretty much equally effective, wow contentious or what!!! If the dredger isn't out go to the outside channel buoy and drift towards the pier. Sorry can't help with shore marks. Others will be along soon I'm sure..
