| Re: berry head Hi mate, i fished at berry head a month ago and had a few good whiting, dogs. Its a deep water mark, not too snaggy, plenty of easy concrete and rock platforms to fish from. Theres a car park as the road gets to the head, but its a 3/4 mile walk from here, what i did was to drive thru the gate at the side of the car park, this track takes you right down thru the quarry to the waters edge. better than walkin, and payin for a ticket. Theres a good tackle shop in brixham town. There are good wrasse close in here as well. |

| Re: berry head I fished there at night, incoming tide. Squid/rag cocktails worked well for me. I don't know where to spin there sorry , but the british record mackerel was caught here{over 5 lb}. I forgot to say b4, i got my pb 3 b rockling here {weighed over a pound}. . If the weather gets too bad here, you can retreat to the brixham breakwater as back-up {sheltered}. good luck, look 4ward to ur report. |
