well i don,t have scales yet as i did,nt know if sea fishing was for me , but i will buy some soon and i can be more precise, but it must have been 4lb, i had a good couple of fillets off it and the small eye was around the same i think , so i will hurry and get some scales, i am just learning but enjoying every minute i go,
i,m sure i will be fishing this weekend someware , mayby bude or trabarwith strand?

Thanks for the offer ,i will have to see how it goes, is there a few of you down there ,
what baits do you use there and what distance do you need to cast ,because it,s a long way to come unprapaired and unable to meet the distant , although the learning bit would be great

theres quite a few going and believe me i cant cast but the chat etc is great, forum meet ups are worth it, i've learnt loads, see earlier/other threads re bait etc
I understand its a long drive but its fishing!!!!

sorry fella.s its a bit far to go, i have to get lifts every where as i have a problem with my heart and should,t drive, but it won,t be long before i,m fighting fit again, thiis is why i,ve been fishing , it,s gets borring after a while being of work (honest) the local beaches look about it for a few months more,but with beaches like this around who,s complaining, so have good un hey,lookforward to your reports on the days fishing,
