MANY THANKS TO DEVON DAVE FOR HIS REPLY TO MY REQUEST FOR SOME LOVELY DEVON PEALER CRAB.SORRY I HAVE NOT REPLIED DIRECTLY TO YOU DAVE BUT IM STILL GET THE HANG OF THIS. WE MANAGED TO ORDER SOME CRAB FROM A SITE ON HERE BUT IT WONT BE KILLER BAIT LIKE THOSE JUICY DEVON PEALERS, WE LIVE IN HOPE THAT SOME ONE WILL TAKE PITY ON US AND GET US A CONTACT DOWN THERE. YOU AL NO WE HAVE CLOTH CAPS AND WHIPET DOGS UP HERE A FEW DEVON PEALERS WOULD PUT US IN THE ELITE SOCIETY UP HERE LOL

Its hard going at the moment for Peelers down here, especially for the winter months because they are prime bait and everyone is reluctant to sell.

Luckily have my own pots and when i can be bothered to do them, which takes hours, i get some nice peelers ready for the good old Codding, Bassing and Floundering

hey luke i'll trudge up through the mud and get the crabs for you!!!!


see hundreds of pots up there when im digging bait.. nobody comes near them on the low tide and you just know if you sneak over and pinch a couple 2 girt great big guys built like bus shelters will hop out from behind a bush and smack you upside the head with an iron bar!!

thanks tat. pmsl at hourse droppings. we used to get them from your end no bother at one time, ill have to come down in the summer and find some of those pot owners and make them an offer they cant refuse lol >>>>>>>> not italian but may be able to put a lit italian twang over me geordie lingo.

you dont have to worry about that mate, anything under the high water mark is ANYBODIES there is no law against it to say who owns it as if you do find anything on the matter i'm sure it would be classed as dumping of general waste in the rivers to catch marine life that is there for EVERYONE
