Torbay / Slightly Further

Mostly bottom fish but float as well.

Fav spots are brixham breakwater, babbacombe pier, princess pier. I have a car so getting to new and old spots is easy.

Planning this winter to also fish slapton sands, bristol channel, Devils point in Plymouth if anyone wants to come along.

Re: Torbay / Slightly Further

Hoping to on Thursday and the weekend. If it's too windy though I generally stick to more sheltered parts of Torquay.

0605 High
1146 Low

I only do weekend tides for legal reasons. If you want a daily tide time then you want the BBC tide times page

I've found the breakwater is best with the tide coming in but with the sprats about at the moment the whole bay is full of mackerel.

Re: Torbay / Slightly Further

lol just checked my other thread and realised your chasing me around as much as me chasing . so ill stay here. right at the mo my bro has i think a carp rod and he's on the look out for a beach caster rod outfit.when i get down (saturday)i'll have carp rod and a bass spinning rod(and the advantage of finding this forum).i was wandering is there anything else i should bring.a mate of mine has some sea gear and has offered to lend me any of it but looking at it compared to course gear i have to admit im a bit lost

Re: Torbay / Slightly Further

all depends where you are sending him! but i have heard that the river teign is fishing very well at the moment because of the sprats being in.
if he has live eels i would send him up the teign
