first time i have ever heard of someone sighting the flatties in there but yes catch quite a few flounder from that harbour ive had them over 3lb in the past...float fish ragworm just off the bottom (have to too avoid crabs)

ok good try and pick a low tide to fish it and stand right at the bottom of the steps..
the reason being the harbour master dont like you fishing in the harbour and moans a bit.. if you keep fairly quiet and down the bottom of the steps he tends to walk by without knowing your there...lol

just leaving house now to go down there, low tide at about 8-9pm.
fishing off the far wall with lines straight across the beach,straight out to sea and one in the mouth of the harbour!
see you all later(hopefully with a couple of nice flounder in the bag aswell!)

i have heard of flatties at the end of the peir and seen one caught the best place is at the end of either piers and fish inwards of the wall.

Never mind mate maybe another time, i have decided to go to the arch im of 30mins just 2 fish and relax. i was ment to go fishing this mornin on my friends boat but he left his radio on and his battery was flat lol.

went to harbour on saturday and got nothing but on sunday i took a rookie out to show him tricks,tips and good marks and through my excelent teaching ,he bagged himself a 4lb 13oz ballen wrasse , BTW, the spot is remaining undesclosed for now but you will all see where it is on the devon meet, so see you all there.
