oooh it was you down there...i cant remember which night it was we went to go down there...saw someone already flashed our head torches around there so went and tried the bathing platform under the imperial instead caught whiting pout and doggies just the same but it went quiet as the tide dropped ...hasnt got the same depth of water as the arch

Talking Re: Torbay / Slightly Further

bit of random info for torbay folk:
went down to harbour tonight around midnight(not fishing but night on the town)
me and my mate saw something moving in the water and it turned out to be a real nice flattie (pretty sure it was a plaice, definately about 1lb+)
we also saw a small school of about 5 silvery fish and strange as it may seem (well it seemed strange to me) but they looked so much like small school bass!!!

i dont fish off the harbour(outside or inside) i was just wondering if anyone does and if these are normal sightings for this time of year and if it was worth fishing off there.

PS - had some chinese and found some milk, mixed the chinese and milk into ground bait and the flattie was quite interested!!!!!!
(ingredients - milk, mushed chips and special foo yung)
