| bit of random info for torbay folk: went down to harbour tonight around midnight(not fishing but night on the town) me and my mate saw something moving in the water and it turned out to be a real nice flattie (pretty sure it was a plaice, definately about 1lb+) we also saw a small school of about 5 silvery fish and strange as it may seem (well it seemed strange to me) but they looked so much like small school bass!!! i dont fish off the harbour(outside or inside) i was just wondering if anyone does and if these are normal sightings for this time of year and if it was worth fishing off there. PS - had some chinese and found some milk, mixed the chinese and milk into ground bait and the flattie was quite interested!!!!!! (ingredients - milk, mushed chips and special foo yung) ![]() |
