how is the mackeral fishing over in budleigh? need to restock my freezer up ready for the bbq and for bait.

i have heard of mackeral in budliegh but not in any great numbers i dont think.. there seems to be a flurry of them come into torbay recently maybe its the same along the coast i dont know!

As DevonDave says there are some around, but not in fantastic numbers yet.... Mind you I haven't really fished Budleigh much this year to be fair... When they come in in larger numbers I'll give you a shout.

we saw mackie feeding at jacobs ladder sat eve but the were a bit too far out to reach with spinners.
