| Blue Anchor 12 Jan Popped down for a few hours this morning to see if I could contribute something to Steve's efforts for us in the Species Hunt. Fished two rods with two hook clipped down rigs. Size 2 hooks with rag tipped with squid. only one small whiting to show for 4 hours spent trying to overcome a surprisingly stiff breeze blowing up the Channel. Steve has kindly offered to try and post the picture as I'm hopeless at that sort of thing. I included a six inch rule in the picture to show just how small the Whiting was!!
