West Hoe Pier 4/1/07

Went down to west hoe pier last night for a couple hours, thought i would try and get a point or two to start the species hunt for the south west duo

High tide was 6.30 and a 5.1, fished from 4 til 8 with mackerel and prawn for bait

1st fish was a small greedy pout that ate a prawn more than half the size of it

Had a few more pout then caught this watever itis (Dragonet? i just call them all gobies)

Then finished off with the usual dogfish

Nice way to spend a couple hours and managed 3 species
