Flounder flounder flounder

Been out floundering again

went after a bigger one this time to try and finaly get one over 2lb

Fished two rods, paternoster rigs and ragworm for bait on both

high tide was at 11.30 and fished from 9 til 3

set up as quick as possible when i arrived as the tide was higher than i thought it would be



Then after about 30 mins i got the 1st bite and got this fish of 1lb 6



so at this point i thought i had come on a day of small ones where there are usualy all bigger fish

about half hour passed then i got another bite and got this fish of 1lb 8



after this fish it went all quiet until the backtide when i got this one about an hour after high



weighed in at 2lb 7

my 1st one over 2lb and got to be my best ever day flounderin so far

would have been there again today if it wasnt for the weather

That 2lb7oz is a stonking fish - gotta be a specimen weight I think ?

think specimin might be 2lb 8 but not 100% sure

still my best though
