When your bait runs out......

you know you have had a good session.

Fished a mark along the south coast in West Cornwall on Friday evening.
Baits used lug and rag cocktails on pennel pulley rig.....fishing 1 up and 3 down over high water into the dark.

From the start lots of bites and the first fish landed....a Coalfish around the 1lb mark. I went onto catch 6 in all the biggest going 1lb 4oz which I kept as it was throat hooked. Nice to see them showing from the shore again.

Then the bass moved in and the bites really started coming fast and furious.

All in all around 15 caught but nothing bigger than 2lb. A really good session and I have already eaten the coalie.....blooming lovely
