| Blue Anchor Sunday 26th November After spending a large part of Saturday trying to copy the "Wishbone" rig from Sea Angler I popped down to BA for 3 hours this morning to give it a go. It was a surprisingly pleasant morning, little wind, high tide about 9.45, even the sun came out. Not many fish though, one small Dogfish (about 2lb) to rag tipped with squid. I got in a bit of a pickle with the "wishbone" a few times when it came back very tangled but the theory of two baits close together is quite attractive. I'll persevere a bit more I think. Two chaps to my right landed a Dogfish and a small Whiting or Pout. Three chaps to my left packed up just on high tide so I imagine they weren't very successful. All in all better than another day indoors. __________________ Rich "If a thing's worth doing it's worth doing to excess!" |
