Re: Aust Saturday anyone?

Good luck mate -- know a match was held there on sunday ish and was hard going but 9 codling caught

So could be a good day but depends on the tides plus if the cod are showing could get busy so might need to get there early to get a spot

Re: Aust Saturday anyone?

Put Us down for it, on the condition Claudia catches something even if one of us has to swim out and fix a tesco's Cod on the line for her !!!

Seriously anyone got any clues as to Bait and rigs for this venue?

Mike

Re: Aust Saturday anyone?

Think you will need pully rigs & Lug & Squid as bait Mike.

Re: Aust Saturday anyone?

BIG baits -- 10 worms on a pennel tipped with squid or crab as the channel is like mud soup so everything is found by sent and remember 15mins time to re-bait

No expert but this is what some very good channel anglers have tought me

Plus if you get there early you can see the little gulleys are and any worm / prawn beds are. Over casting as the tide comes in will put you past the fish

Shame shaun is busy as he knows this mark very well

Re: Aust Saturday anyone?

Well as it looks like I may have another skull fracture this weekend I may have to treat it the same way I did last two times, drink myself to oblivion!!

I cracked the skull twice whilst re-enacting having taken a sword blow and an axe blow both whilst not wearing a helm. did not realise that drinking was bad for it so just drank way too much, got told by the hospital two days after the last time that it could have killed me, but possibly the alcohol had caused a bleed out so it did not swell and the contusion could not squeeze the brain.

So on that principle I will need all the money I can to drink brown lemonade till I think I can sing and dance and stop certain death from overtaking this battered boyfriends feeble body!!!

Alternatively I will not have a beating and let Claudia drive so I will buy the beers for the non drivers!!

Whats the vote then , beating a nd beer for just me or no beating and beers for me and the passengers??

Mike

( still ducking those tutonic fists )

LOL!
