| Tinsel Flicking at Port Gaverne Me, the missus and my beachcaster went away for the weekend couple of weeks ago to Port Gaverne, next to Port Isaac on the North Cornwall Coast. Stayed at a place just 100yds from the headland and manged to get in two tinsel sessions. Once on the Friday when I literally caught our supper, took two fine mackeral back to our guest house and had them as the starter for the evening meal just two hours later. Second session was the Saturday late morning when I manged to haul in (and put back) a round dozen of the same whilst watching a huge 4 foot plus grey seal sunning itself on the rocks as the 6 metre tide dropped. Great fun and a nice start to the weekend before we headed inland for walking on Bodmin. I would recommend the spot to anyone looking for a bit of R&R, nice place to go. Tony |

| Nice one Tony, Can't beat a bit of fresh Mackerel for flavour. There's some great fishing down that way. Had many happy hours spinning for Pollack off the rocks there. __________________ One man's fish is another man's poissons http://www.deepsea.co.uk http://www.wildtrout.org |
