bristol channel..10th feb

fished the upper stretch of the channel,cold sunny conditions,sea was flat calm ideal for boats,not so good for the shore but managed 2 codling...
first around 6-8ozs,second 3lb 14oz,lost what felt like a good fish.
have pic taken with digital camera,not sure how to upload it.!

Great pics there viper. Some nice smutts too. There was talk a while back about having a Forum Smutt fishing meet somewhere down on the South coast. If I was to try & organise this, would you be interested?
