Woodspring Priory (Mud Flats)

Fished 3.5 Hours up from low water in the freezing cold.
Caught 1 small whiting and 1 small codling. Easterly wind didn't help.
2 of the local boats were out from the estuary but didn't see much action on the boats either.
Hope Things are going to get better soon. How long can the sprats hang around for.

Did hear a rumour of a Cod of 27lb being caught from Brean Down! but they also said they caught a sting ray on the same night as well, so can you really take it seroiusly?? But if its true cracking fish from the shore

Re: Woodspring Priory (Mud Flats)

Ive heard that rumour aswell shads, still waiting for photos to confirm it.

If a big cod is going to come from anywhere brean down would be one of the places it comes from.

We'll have to wait and see what happens though, could be a wind up mate.
