Fished Slapton yesterday with my father-in-law.....I blanked again!

Got there about 10am and fished through to 3:30pm, high tide was 6pm. thought we would try fishing the low, as the tide was 4.9m and we were then able to cast into further water.

Wind was very blustery and it was difficult to tell if you had a bite.

Believe it or not my father-in-law caught a flounder???..I thought you only caught these in estuaries???

Had loads of fish during the summer and autumn months.

Going again tonight to fish the tide up and down the high.

If anyone else is going, please come and say hello...I will be the one in the bright orange IMAX flotation suit, blanking again probably.

Well done i m getting pretty good at blanking aswell.
It is a flounder,you get them all over,good luck for tonight.

WENT TO BOAT CLUB AT TIEGNMOUTH LAST NIGHT ONLY HAD A WHITING OH YEAH AND A LITTLE THING THAT WAS ALL SLIMY BUT WAS A GOOD NIGHT
DO ENJOY FISHING SLAPTON MAYBE MEET UP 1 DAY ,I FISH FLEET END NORMALY CHEERS ALL
