right going slapton saturday night with choosy and friends got bait weather going tobe good ,the word is loads of whiting about ,hopefully will catch more than whiting but i don,t care just going fishing is enough ,will post report sunday for you all ,hopefully with good news tight lines to you all

right ere we go
got to slapton at 8pm very busy must of been a comp ,so we decided togo at fleet end of slapton ,clear skys exellent night ,rods in the water with in 10 mins first doggy fished till 2 hours past high tide ,all in all 15 doggys 2 mackeral 1 whiting ,bait used rag razor sandeel squid ,very nice night plenty of fish shame was all doggys but it was fish ,really enjoyed our selfs and got to try out my new
K2 titanium and abu rocket what a set up just kept on going fantastic rod and reel ,first time with multiplier and no birds nest weha lol

Glad to see that you caught. When you say k2 do u mean the beach rods?i bought one this year and i think that it has a great feel. Ive got a Abu 6500 elite paied with it.

As Shrek said, yes we were catching (mostly dogfish) but I was very surprised to see Mackerel come out this late in the year. They weren't small ones either. No sign of any whiting all night, but thats the luck of the draw.
A good night was had by us all.
Does anybody know if there was a competition on at Slapton Saturday? The Kingsbridge end was very busy. Just wondering........

yeah 5 metre beach with abu 6500 rocket in full stainless nice combo very powerfull set up looking forward to using it more .glad i bought the pair will give me more distance .
