| Lower Lite - Burnham - Report Chaps, Shads and I ventured to Lower Lite last night to fish the beach in Burnham. Never been there before ( even though Im only from up the road in Bristol ) and have to say its a top place - nice long sandy beach and easy parking within 500 yards. Anyway fished with three rods using rag, lug, squid and makeral - plenty of tichty bites that only made the rod tips shiver but no knocks that could be classed as a good bite. 20 minutes from the end I wound in me flapper and there she was - a beautiful small codling - the size of my hand but in great condition. Released and returned to become a ten pounder one day !! Only a titchy fish but a cod never the less - thats four for the season and more importantly it wasnt quite a blank session !!!! __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up !     |

| Re: Lower Lite - Burnham - Report Well done Tommy. Nice report.  When people refer to "Lower Light" are they on about the lighthouse on stilts? The guy who sits next to me lives in Burnham, and he's never heard of "Lower Light".  Rich. |
