charmouth 10/9/5

well i ended up in Charmouth last night after plans to go to Sea Town (after seeing good article in TSF few months back) were scupperered as couldnt find any parking for after 9pm

Its a great looking venue with very easy access to beach, even available for disabled as can fish off carpark/cafe patio/prom at high tide
saw some others fishing what looked like a comp a 1/4 mile down beach, but me being the lazy person i am walked 50yrds from car, Weed was horrendous even worse than the Hurst castle meet
so after 1 hour moved 50 yrds right to onder sea wall
missed one enourmous bite which cut through trace
but caught nothing in next 3 hours till midnight

did meet a nice guy (sorry didnt get name but )who told me more how to fish this place and some other local venues, seems loads of species here as good mix of rock, sand, shallow and steep beaches
and as left met other anglers who had only had few pout between them(but were quite unhelpfull otherwise, but it was nearly 1am?and who would talk to a wierd stranger like me then??)
so although caught nothing I know I'll be back as there are points out there waiting for me!!!

Sounds a productive trip Dave, even if you didn't catch owt. What do you think the missed bite was?
