Anyone fished St Audries Bay Nr Watchet

Hi All, I am going to St Audries Bay for a weeks holiday tommorrow and could do with some local knowledge of the water. I will mostly be spinning as i do not have any Sea fishing gear so will be using carp rod 2.5lb t/c and sea reel have bought a couple of 5 hook rigs, shock leader (35lb) and a 3oz weight as i think my 2oz carp weights will do. Never done any sea fishing so first fish will be a PB what ever the species. Bought some size 3 hooks so i can set up the same semi-fixed bolt rig as i would use for carp fishing. Is this the best approach or not?

Hi Ian try this site i always use it when iam up that way www.zen18975.zen.co.uk and click on venues and you'll find st.audries and a few other place's around there, gives what rigs and best baits to use.
