Sand Point Last Night

Me and Shads fished our local mark over this area last night aiming for some schooooolies and ray.

Ended up with a bloomin hard night of relaxing in the sun, blackthorn in hand and doing naff all. Finished with four doggies to one and had a nice time - thankful for small mercies of the doggies !!

Shads had a belter of a bite which was likely a ray and spent a good 5 / 10 mins winding it in with a wicked fight and the rod bent right over - sweating like a git he was and we were well excited. Got about 15 yards away and snagged a rock and was never to be seen again with a snapped line - absolutely gutted for him - reckon it would have been a good 10 pounder !

Still thats the way its goes I spose - at least it was a nice night out .........

Unfortunately only one can as driving but I wasnt the culprit - it was Shads and no he wasnt pissed - more the pity !!!
