Hopes Nose / Inshore Exmouth Wrecks

Chaps with all the reports of cod all over the country I'm out in our boat this Thursday from Exmouth.

Does anyone know if the cod have turned up off the nose yet - I understand a few weeks ago they hadn't and it was only whiting so jot sure whether to try there or the inshore wrecks upto 10 miles - always find them hit and miss at this time of year but with the warmer weather I'm thinking the bass might still be there and maybe the pollack are on their way ?

If anyone could advise about wrecks or the cod off the nose id appreciate it.

Hi John,

It's been a long time mate - got two little nippers now to keep life v busy !!! At four and two they are a handful but brilliant - Mostyn is constantly asking about fishing and loves the boat so his first mskeral was caught this summer - brilliant it was too !

Will have to get some info from you at some point on where to get some nice welsh bass - that'll help impress the wife as well and get me a few brownie points !!!!

Spoke to two lads today whilst I was fishing. They are local to torquay and said that there have been no reports cod that they have heard of and the two times they have fished the nose all they had was whiting.
