| Beachley-Chepstow Hi All I know, I know, this is not the Wales forum. But has anyone fished the above location before and was it any good? Thinking of going tomorrow morning on a 10.8m tide. Any info would be welcome. Regards Nigel __________________ 2011 Target Beat Sully for number of catches 12-11 so far! | Re: Beachley-Chepstow Never fished it myself ,but found some info ....... Wear waders, it can get extremely muddy. Use big lug baits, and dont be afraid to make them BIG.....whole squid works well too. Dont fish too big a tide,10.8 m max to be safe __________________ Mike.. | Re: Beachley-Chepstow Well, We went there on Wednesday morning. 10.8 I think at 11:45am. We fished 3 hours up and 2 hours down. We used lots of different baits to cover all angles. Used rag, squid (whole) black lug, spat, lug, sand eel and a mixture of all. My Brother had a few good bites but nothing landed. We were fishing on the slip way and managed to stay upright. The area is lovely and would fish it again despite the blank. Thanks for the post's too. Regards Nigel __________________ 2011 Target Beat Sully for number of catches 12-11 so far!
