Smile A few hours on the rocks!

Wasnt going to miss another nice wee gap in the weather, light winds some pleasant sunshine incoming tide and a nice light bag of lures so i,m off down the rocks.
Went along Pendeen way to one of my usual huants and was pleasantly suprised at the amount of fish around, only caught gars and pollack on a variety of plugs/spinners and soft lures.
No big pollack best around 2lb 6oz but great fun on light tackle, they seemed to hit the slug-go's really hard but were a bit wary of the plugs today.
The gars were taking spinners and long slim plugs but would only follow the slug-go's right up to the rocks.
Had the company of two seals for most of the day but never lost one fish to them, looked like they were just chillin in the sun lol!
A very nice day out between weather fronts .
No fish pics but did take a couple of the rock mark before i headed home, nice little cove sand out through the middle and rock/kelp to either side.

Looks like a nice wee spot mate ..
Is there much to be had there using normal bottom fishing methods ?

Good to see you got out Steve!
I still havn't managed a session this leave!
Now I have finished my driving lessons I should have more time for fishing. I have only got until Wednesday this time though. Tomorrow and Monday are looking good for me at the moment.
All the best,
Jason

You'l get wrasse a few dogs and the odd strap, bass on lugworm/sandeel with a bit more chop in the water.
It,s patches of kelp/rocks and large patches of sand all along this mark Steve, i wouldnt mind giving it a go into the dark might even find a Huss or two.
There's a nice low water mark for pollack just along from there but got pushed off by the incoming tide yesterday.

Thanks for replies guys, got some lovely pollack fillets for the freezer and kept a few gars for bait.
Sounds like you had a busy leave this time Jason, at least your mobile now for the winter cod season ahead.
