Re: long way to scratch an itch for 2 hours

Hey Dave, what night did you fish? I was there on friday evening after work and fished just to the right of the slipway. Fishing was pants with 2 whiting and I was approached by a beach zombie too but after about 10 seconds I knew this guy was gonna annoy me and so I addopted an abrupt "alter ego" and he buggered off and left me in peace, well after 12 hours in the factory the last thing i need is more bloody idiots lol!

Re: long way to scratch an itch for 2 hours

I've never fished that area although I know guys who have. On the big tides I d fish down to the left past the lifeboat station normally but was late arriving and there were a few on the steps already when I arrived and so opted for a spot between the slipway and the 3 yellow flag posts, a bit too big a tide for there really as you are fishing with a lot of shallow water out in front. Not a bad spot though when you can fish a smaller tide that allows you to hit the deeper area.
I would,ve been the next angler down from you I reckon as there was no one that i could see past me.
