| North Coast Sesh! Went out around 5pm to a local mark less than 2 miles from home which i know has not been fished for some time. Had a walk/climb down the other day and not even a scrap of mono to be found so thought we,d give it a go. Set up for around 5.30, high tide was at 9 so plan was to fish til 10. I had one rod in the bottom straight away and my mate decided to try a bit of float fishing for some fresh bait but got only pollack biggest around 2lb. I decided to chill out for the night and just put my other rod in the rough also. Nothing much doing til jammy git put a rod in the rough and landed this wee fellow just shy of 9lbs 1st chuck lol!  I followed it up with a monster strap tipping the scales at 2lb, went strangely quiet around the golden hour (dusk), into the dark and the fog was coming in and swell lifting with it. I managed one more strap around 8lb just before 10 so with that it was time to head home. A very enjoyable evening and back home with a beer before 11. | Re: North Coast Sesh! I hate to say this guys but it,s a baby compared to the one he had earlier this year less than a mile from this mark, it tipped the scales at a whopping 17lb 8oz,s. My best is a mere 14lb from a mark on the south coast.
