| Portishead 29 Spet 2011 Hi All I went down Portishead Jetty last night. Fished 3 hours up and 2 hours down. Had to get off the jetty an hour beforehand and fish from the wall. I then went back on the jetty after the water had lowered. Caught 2 Whitting on the up, both very small and reminded me of fishing as a kid and catching minnows. Then off the jetty on the down tide, pulled in a 1lb 2oz Cod. Was about the recommended size of 35cm but it went back in to fight another day with the Whitting.
