Spinning sesh at Pendeen

Went out for a couple of hours before dusk with a few spinners, was a bit to windy for plugging so opted for the 40g cheapo toby's.
Had the company of the usual load of seals along there looking for an easy meal.
Great start to the sesh with plenty of Launce taking the lure so i,v got some nice fresh huss bait for tomorrow night.

Sea was pretty lumpy so had to stay quite far back to avoid the swells, weed was a bit of a problem too but did manage to winkle out a couple of bass before it got to dark.
Kept one for the pot and let the other go to fight another day.

A set of those little Hokai shrimp things would have probably sorted out a right load of launce tonight. The 40g toby's are quite big but still managed to get a few. Downside is the evil forecast tomorrow WNW 25mph gusting to 46mph heavy rain with a chance of thunder and lightning and not much better on Sunday .
Might have to put the huss trip off!

I,m quite lucky mate living so close to the sea, can be at the nearest mark in the car in 5mins. Where i went tonight was a bit of a trek though 10mins drive and another 10min walk, tell you what i was knackered! At least you got some other fishing to help ease the pain.

Re: Spinning sesh at Pendeen

Well done on the bass Steve,
I will be home in a few days. I dont think spinning and plugging will be an option as the sea looks like a cuppa builders tea!
Might get some big bass on whole squid though!
I have a busy leave ahead. I have got to go on a course for 4 days. I spend the weekends with the family and have to fit some driving lessons as well. hope to fit a few mini sessions in though!
All the best. j
