| Re: Sennen Cove area . thers a breakwater there you can fish off and if your doing a daylight session then id stick to float fishing for bass mackerel, gars, pollack and some decent wrasse on crab.. only ever been there once but sadly had no gear with me .. rag probably your best bet and nearest digging i know is up near Marazion or Penzance .. you might be able to get hold of some live sandeels which will outfish everything __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |

| Re: Sennen Cove area . Live sandeels were the dogs danglies when we were at Pentewan. Low tide and they were just under the surface, could get them out by sticking your boot in the sand and dragging it along. My best shore bass was about 30 yards out on my trusty carp rod and was a live sandeel on a 1/0 hook. Probably only 4 LB tops but I'll never forget that fish. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |
