Cogden yesterday Sorry for the late report. Fished Cogden yesterday, very slow indeed! Fished last 3 down and 4 up again and managed 1 solitary plaice of about 12 oz. My mate had a plaice no bigger than a tea bag and a miniscule whiting almost as small. Dont know where all these plaice are coming from but it aint on my rods for sure! __________________ Species so far for 2012 Pike,Chub,Roach,Ruffe,Mackeral,Plaice, LSD,Pout

Re: Cogden yesterday Seems they have either all been caught or they have moved on. Over 100 anglers along the beach from Cogden to West Bexington every day this week and only about a dozen Plaice between them all. And all at long range. __________________ Check my blog for a daily fishing forecast from Weymouth, Portland, Chesil Beach & Kimmeridge Bay. www.fishingtails.co.uk

Re: Cogden yesterday It seems that they either come randomly from the gutter just below low water , as happened the other day or at distance after hours of perseverence .. could it be boats ? or have they just got fed up of 100 leads hitting the water every 20 minutes and moved away from the car parks and walking distance parts of chesil Could have been these big tides too .. __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting

Re: Cogden yesterday Not heard of any boats trawling, and even the long walkers have been coming up with nothing. __________________ Check my blog for a daily fishing forecast from Weymouth, Portland, Chesil Beach & Kimmeridge Bay. www.fishingtails.co.uk
