West Bexington report 23-3-11

I will keep this short.

Went down to West Bexington today. Don't bother coming in from the Weymouth end as the road is closed at Abbotsbury. I know the back roads so I was all right, but it would be so east to get lost.

Fished for 3 hours towards the bottom of the ebb. Not much happening either side of me. One guy about 100m to my right had a small Plaice.

I blanked. But I put this down to my inability to cast today. For some reason I struggled to cast 80m. I don't like casting with a steep slope behind me, which was what happened as the large tide dropped rapidly away.

A blanks better than Eastenders !!!!!!. Better luck nxt trip ...

roads shut mon to fri and upto 3.30pm when it reopens .. resurfacing
