| devils point-04/03/11 well I went and fished devils point for the first time today for for a couple of hours,   for the first half an hour I kept getting snagged due to the current taking the lead but once it was the slack water this happened..  a nice little pout about half a pound on mackerel,so i baited back up and cast out about 5 minutes later this puppy came onto my hook..  a dog fish weighing in at about a pound and half.over all we had 3 pout and 2 dogs..  I'm definitely going to fish this spot again but stay for a few hours longer and maybe do a night session as well. Oh and here's a bass i caught couple of weeks ago at penlee head..  ( ALL FISH IN THIS THREAD WERE RELEASED AND SWAM AWAY TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY) Thanks for looking alex      |

| Re: devils point-04/03/11 yeah it was nice to get out, another fisherman turned up just as i packed up so i gave him my left over bait and told him to cast where i was fishing,he said it was his first time there as well. |

| Re: devils point-04/03/11 Nice one. Are you straight into deep water there? I never fished Devils Point when I lived in Plymouth. It was mainly Plymouth Hoe and I had some fantastic Bass. | Re: devils point-04/03/11 thanks guys.. yeah it's deep water all the time,I fished low tide and it was deep but been told by a diver that its about 50metres high tide, I normally fish north cornwall coast but now been there going to start travelling further. |
